An Important Role of a Business is to … Educate its Customers

On December 1, 2012, I started my new position and career with Sehatu Sleep, a Deep Relaxation Training and Yoga Studio, as a Marketer.

They are a very new business, about six months old, and offers a service that is rarely talked about locally, nationally, and possibly globally.

Sehatu Sleep’s mission is to offer people a practicaleffective, and sustainable solution to common sleep and stress problems.

Deep Relaxation Training is an integratedcomprehensive, and harmonious combination of relaxation techniques to train people ways to:

  • relax
  • attain a state of increased calmness,
  • reduce levels of anxiety, stress, and irritation, and
  • eliminate common sleep problems such as, insomnia.

Because Deep Relaxation Training is a rarely suggested solution to common sleep and stress problems, we are currently facing a challenge to get people curious about Deep Relaxation Training. How do we do that? How do we make it known to people who are interested in obtaining deep and restorative sleep without medicine, supplements, or hooked to uncomfortable appliances and gadgets?

There is an education bridge that, as a business, we will have to build to take people across from the “unknown” to the “known.”
Let’s do a simple market test on you…Do you know or have you heard of relaxation training before this?

If you did not know. Do not worry! Statistically, 9 out of 10 people I’ve asked said No.

It is NOT because that people lack the intelligence to research alternative solutions, but because it is not common and most of us do not have the time.

As a result, within this past four weeks, the principle of a business being an educator was once merely an intellectual concept has transcended into my entrepreneurial spirit. Also, the educator role of a business is continual and always evolving with the needs and wants of a business’s clientele.

If you are wondering what am I doing to make Deep Relaxation Training known to people since I joined Sehatu Sleep…I will cover that next week 😀 In short, I want to make Deep Relaxation Training known to people as a simple, sustainable, and effective solution to common sleep and stress problems.

How many times have you tried to search for a solution to your ONE problem, and there are just too many ways to solve it. You’d have to live to 1,000 years old if you want to test them all to find the most effective solution to your problem.

Since the world wide web is such a resourceful place, I would like to ask you for a favor.
